About Linda Dickerhoof |

| Linda Dickerhoof is the president and founder of Signature Strategy, Inc. She has provided public relations and communications counsel to associations and for-profit corporations alike in the Washington D.C. metro area for over six years. Before founding Signature Strategy in March 2003, Linda gained a wide variety of experience, rising quickly in the ranks from entry-level to managerial positions in public relations, marketing, and corporate communication with various local companies and associations. Her former employers include the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS); UUNET, a WorldCom Company; the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE); Coldwell Banker Stevens, Realtors; and Disabled Sports, USA.
Under Linda’s leadership, Signature Strategy has provided media relations, marketing, copywriting, project management, and event planning services for clients including Marriott International, Inc., Results Software, Enterra Solutions, LLC, National Trade Productions’ Proprietary Show Division (creators of GOVSEC—The Government Security Expo and Conference, The U.S. Law Enforcement Conference and Exposition, and READY! The Emergency Preparedness and Response Conference and Exposition), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the World Health Care Congress, Urban Professionals of D.C., and more. Linda is an adjunct faculty member in the Communication Department of George Mason University. She graduated from GMU in 1998 with a B.A. in Speech Communication, and began working for GMU as an adjunct instructor in 2002, where she teaches undergraduate public relations, public speaking and communication courses. Linda has also taught communication classes at the Annandale Campus of Northern Virginia Community College, and the Northern Virginia Campus of the University of Phoenix. She has also been a guest lecturer for American University, where she received her M.A. in Public Communication in 2001. In addition, Linda has written articles and recurring columns for On Tap Magazine, the Chamber Executive, and TravelHost of Northern Virginia.
American University Alumni Group Linda is very active in her community, volunteering for such organizations as the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, Companion Animal Rescue and Education (CARE), the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA), and the National Transplant Society (NTS).
